I'd like to cancel this standing order http://thisav.fun/ thisavcom   and yes, I realize that not ALL goods/technologies have been like this. it just seems that we’re fooling ourselves into thinking that our progress (tech. development) has made our lives so much better. it has made our lives different. i’m still wondering who is pushing technological development and why (and yes, I understand humankind’s “need to know” but that would ideally come after we have solved all of our other problems, when instead what we’ve done is increased them along with our knowledge/tech. base) and can’t come up with any better answer than that you can make money off of it, and that Deus ex Machina has taken the place of religious hope for salvation.
